The heat got the best of me during this race. I guess that it doesn't help when you only train in the evenings. Anyway, the race course was fun. It had a small steep hill on the backside and an incline to the finish. The corners weren't bad and the field for the women's 3/4 category was great (maybe 50?). The pace for this race was of course fast, yes even for this category. In other words, the race pace felt like a bunch of Cat. 3 women on the verge of upgrading to Cat. 2.
